Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of dcorejewels.in and anything you buy from it. By placing an order you accept them. Please read the sections on product descriptions and on plating in particular — they describe what you are actually buying.

What we sell — please read this

Dcore Jewels sells plated fashion (artificial) jewellery. Many of our pieces carry an anti-tarnish coating; each product page describes the piece you are buying.

To be completely clear:

• Our products are not solid gold, solid silver, or any precious metal. They contain no precious-metal content.
• They are not hallmarked, and they are not required to be. BIS hallmarking applies to precious-metal articles; imitation and fashion jewellery falls outside it.
• Descriptions such as "18k rose gold", "gold-tone" or "silver-tone" refer to the colour and finish of the plating, never to solid metal content.
• Stones are cubic zirconia, crystal, glass, resin, enamel or simulated pearl unless a listing says otherwise. We do not sell natural diamonds or precious gemstones.
• Our pieces have no bullion or resale value and should not be bought as an investment or as security for a loan.

Plating is a surface finish and it wears with use. Our Cancellation and Refunds page explains how to care for it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy from this site. By ordering you confirm that the details you give us are true and that the payment method is yours to use.

Product descriptions, photographs and colour

We photograph our pieces ourselves and describe them as accurately as we can.

Colours on your screen will not be an exact match. Every display renders gold and rose-gold tones differently, and a minor difference in shade is not a defect. Neither is the small variation in finish, stone placement or weight that comes with hand-finishing — those are characteristics of the work rather than faults.

Measurements are given in millimetres and are approximate, with a small tolerance either way. Where a piece is shown worn or styled, the other items in the photograph are not included unless the listing says so.

Pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include GST. The price charged is the one displayed at the moment you place the order.

• Prices, offers and product availability can change without notice.
• Shipping charges and any COD handling fee are shown separately at checkout before you confirm.
• The minimum order value is ₹199 before shipping.

Obvious pricing errors. If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price — a mis-keyed figure, a decimal in the wrong place — we are not obliged to sell at it. If it happens after you have ordered, we will contact you, offer you the correct price, and cancel and refund in full if you would rather not proceed.

Placing an order

Your order is an offer to buy. Our confirmation email acknowledges that we have received it; it is not our acceptance. A contract is formed only when we dispatch the order.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — with a full refund — where:

• The item is out of stock or has been mispriced
• We cannot verify the payment, or the payment is flagged by our gateway
• The delivery address is outside our courier network
• We reasonably suspect fraud, resale, or repeated abuse of returns or COD

We may also limit quantities on an item or restrict bulk buying, and we will tell you if we do.

Payment

Our checkout offers UPI, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay) and Cash on Delivery. The gateway's own payment page may offer further methods of its own; those three are what we ask you to choose between.

Online payments are processed by our payment gateway partners. Your card and UPI credentials are entered on the gateway's page and never reach our servers. We store only the transaction reference the gateway returns.

Cash on Delivery is available on orders up to ₹2,000. That limit is measured on the amount collected at your door — the order total, delivery charge and COD handling fee included — and not on the value of the items alone, so a basket just under ₹2,000 may still have to be paid online. COD is not available everywhere either; our Shipping Policy lists where, and what the handling fee is.

If a payment is taken but the order does not appear, do not pay again. Email us with the transaction reference and we will trace it; a payment with no order attached is refunded in full.

Shipping, cancellation and returns

Your account

You may shop as a guest or create an account. If you create one:

• Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give us accurate contact details — a wrong phone number is the single commonest cause of a failed delivery.
• Tell us promptly at support@dcorejewels.in if you think someone else has access to it.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently, to abuse promotions or returns, or in breach of these terms.

Glow Coins

Glow Coins are our loyalty points. They are a goodwill benefit, not currency.

• You earn coins on eligible purchases and on activities we run from time to time, such as signing up, referring a friend, or leaving a review with a photograph.
• 1 Glow Coin is worth ₹1 against a future order.
• Coins can pay for at most 25% of an order. The rest must be paid normally.
• Coins expire 365 days after they are earned, each batch on its own date.
• Coins have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and are not refundable.
• Coins earned on an order are reversed if that order is cancelled or returned. Coins you spent are returned to your account, keeping their original expiry date.
• Earn rates, the redemption cap and expiry may change. Changes apply to coins earned after the change.
• We may cancel coins obtained through duplicate accounts, fake reviews, self-referrals or any other manipulation, and close the accounts involved.

Discount codes and offers

Unless a specific offer says otherwise: one code per order, codes cannot be combined, they have no cash value, they cannot be applied after an order is placed, and they may be withdrawn at any time. A code used on an order that is later cancelled or returned is not reissued.

Reviews and anything you post

If you leave a review, a photograph or a question, you keep ownership of it and grant us a free, non-exclusive right to display and use it on our site, our listings and our marketing.

Please only post content that is yours to post and that relates to a piece you actually bought. We remove content that is abusive, misleading, unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or contains personal contact details. We do not delete reviews for being critical.

Our content

Everything on this site — photographs, designs, text, the Dcore Jewels name and logo — belongs to us or to our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape or use it commercially without our written permission. You may share links and use our product photographs to talk about a piece you bought, with credit.

Availability of the site

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice, and we are not liable for a loss arising from the site being unavailable.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that: our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example a missed occasion, lost profit, or loss arising from a courier delay outside our control.

We are not liable for skin reactions arising from an individual sensitivity to plated brass or to the finishes used. We make no claim that any piece is hypoallergenic or suited to sensitive skin, and no material suits everyone. If you know you react to costume jewellery, please ask us about a specific piece before ordering.

Force majeure

We are not liable for a delay or failure caused by something outside our reasonable control — natural events, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, courier or utility failure, or government restrictions.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to it. Material changes are announced on the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at the place of our registered office, stated at the top of this page.
